Sorry all, had to reinstall servers etc to make this all work again....
Hope it hasnt been too much trouble. It was needed because of tons of viruses passing through the mailservers, i wanted to be able to stop those, and therefore needed more powerfull hardware. Its now all in place (allmost , and i hope you will continue using it forever

Hi TWS,
thanks for the support of the german /european D3 community. It´s a great pleasure to use a forum that is hosted by someone who knows what he´s doing. Have you ever noticed how often Planet Descent announces the DBB to be down, crashed, unreacheable?

Well, the server is nice too, of course!
I wonder how many posts we can do here until you need the two empty HD-slot's

No, its actually a tripple....1 main unit with 2 backup servers.
And dont worry, i got it cheap
The main unit is based on 2 1 G Xeon cpu's with 1 gig ram each.
Heh, the speakers is a development project im making, using the best drivers available and then trying to make them work together.... NOT that easy i might add... I need them for a new cinema room i plan to make late this summer. Originally they were based on all Dynaudio units, but now better units are available.
Hehehe Lex, you just post all you want Theres 240 Gb reserved for web applications....
And now for another issue......
The old Descent.DK site...I kinda hate seeing it just sitting there and slowly dying, so if anyone has got an idea for what to do with it, maybe even maintaining it im ALL ears.

My suggestion: SOD
and may be some more of those images like the one at the bottom of the LAN page
