Da gibt's nen Extra-Threat für Probs mit Vortex. Aber eigentlich ist da ne Autoupdate-funktion enthalten, die auch funzt.

Was passiert, wenn Scorp seine Quellen für Vortex verliert, und alle restlichen Versionen nur bis zum Monatsende laufen können, da er keine Nachfolgeversion erstellen kann ?
Was passiert, wenn der Updateserver nicht mehr erreichbar ist, weil z.b. die Domain geschlossen werden muss ?
Was passiert, wenn eine Vorgängerversion von Vortex (unter exotischen Umgebungen, etwa in ner Windowsemulation) besser läuft als die neue Version ?

Ja Du, funzen tut sie, die Updatefunktion, nur es giebt kein Update für "out of Date". 
*Hab erst seit 2 Tagen Vortex. Bin ich schon Vortex-Süchtig?*

eehhhyy, .. fi....! Ich hab ja das gleiche Problem
Nun, dann müssen wir wohl mal einen der Admins finden. / mach mich gleich mal auf den Weg...

@Munk: Nun weiss auch ich was du meinst 
Also auch ein Download vom Server bringt nix. Da ist Skorp wohl irgendwas dadurch gegangen. Ich hoffe mal er hat da nur was übersehen und kann das schnell richten...

habe grade 'ne Mail an Skorp geschickt. Ich hoffe der guckt noch in sein Postfach vom slyclan und hat nicht total die Nase voll vom VORTEX-Basteln

Das selbe Spiel war schonmal hier.
Vielleicht sollte das Vortex einfach nur dann seinen Dienst verweigern, wenn es auch tatsächlich ein Update gibt, und nicht einfach mal so ins blaue raten, daß es ja nun mit der Zeit eins geben müsste.

Sorry to jump into this thread in English, but spaceprincess just posted at PD about what I think is the same problem as this thread discusses; every time she tries to run Vortex, she gets an error saying that it's out-of-date. I've experienced the same error myself. She also mentioned something about slyclan.de asking her for a password, but I haven't experienced that. If a solution to the problem was posted earlier, I'd be greatly obliged if someone could repeat it, since I unfortunately don't speak German.

As it turns out, the password issue was actually on her end, so that's not a problem anymore. Thanks for the update on Vortex; we'll wait patiently until the problem is resolved.
