hab den ms precision 2 joystick
mit suse 7.3

bis auf den coolie-hat funktioniert auch alles

hab mal nen jstest --normal /dev/input/js0 gemacht

Woohoo! I get to tell my little story.

I love the sidewinder 3d pro, just bought another new one at a comp swap-meet last week. I love it because it will work in dos and windows very well.

The thing is that I have an athlon system and acording to microsoft the speed of the bus is too fast for it so it doesn't work in digital mode. They even said something along the lines of "the sidewinder 3d pro is not compatible with todays newer faster bus speeds and therefore will not work in digital mode". Well, you know what that really means? It means "we are too lazy to fix our operating system/drivers and would rather you buy a new stick". The reason I say this is because when I set out to get my 3d pro working in linux, I compiled the kernal and all that stuff and found that someone wrote a sidewinder driver for linux (it's included in the kernel). I didn't expect it to work because M$ said it was a problem with the stick but when i tried it it worked perfectly in digital mode in linux! So I went out and bought another one!

So I say "Sidewinder 3D Pro forever"!!!!!

er nennt sich Radnimax und Xamindar
