Man Europe still sucks for upload speeds. DL speed is better these days though.
This is my connection in Seoul. It has been the same since 2008, but only because I never upgraded it (nor do I need to):

But still most over here are glad about the slight enhancements we get!
Remembering times of great combats on a server called "Descent.DK 3" in a level called "Ascent" about 18 years ago.
We were 4 pilots on a 128 kbit/s dialup line on our end and it was a pleasure at ~120ms.
My twisted pair LAN at that time hold a max. transfer rate of 4 Mbit/s. Considering my download rate over the internet is counting at ~10.000% vs. my LAN speed those days it is just brilliant.
Other areas and countries might be far beyond that, but still I am feeling blessed

Beim drüber lesen ist mir aufgefallen, daß wir hier ja nicht in der English embassy sind, ...

Erinnere mich an großartige Kämpfe auf einem Server Namens "Descent.DK 3" n einem Level Namens "Ascent, vor 18 Jahren.
Wir waren Vier Piloten auf einer 128 kbit/s ISDN Einwahlverbindung und es war ein Genuss bei ~120ms.
Mein BNC-basiertes Heimnetzwerk hatte eine max. Übertragungsrate von 4 MBit/s. Wenn man bedenkt daß meine heutige Downloadrate bei 10.000% über meiner damaligen Heimnetzgeschwindigkeit liegt, ist das geradezu großartig.
Andere Gegenden und Länder mögen darüber hinaus sein, aber ich fühle mich dennoch gesegnet

They are. Every time I go to UK, download is faster, but upload still like 15mbps.. And always really expensive for unlimited bandwidth..

Those were the days Being in Seoul is good speed.. but lousy ping..
