On the 13th of May 2007, King_Lo and me founded the Open Descent Foundation.

The ODF has the achievement to create and collect good and open source programmes for the games Descent1, -2 and -3. The idea of founding this community resulted of the problems with closed source programmes and tools that could not be ported to Linux or buggy programmes that could not be fixed. All our members must accept the idea of Open Source.

Members don't have to be programmers or scripters, everyone is welcome. We also need testers, supporters, people who write concepts, donators, graphic designers, song writers and sound effecters, advocates Smilie

, fans and people making advertising for us.

We would be very glad if lots of members of the DF would join the ODF. Joining is very easy. Just click on the join-link. Once you are a member, you can discuss news, topics and help us writing our projects.

Our current projects are:
-OpenDescent (an open Descent3 clone)
-D4L (a better level editor than d3edit)
-DOG (a clone of the hog-utility)
-and of course D321GO!! Winken

This adress will be much faster! It is hosted on Wormaus' server.

Hmm, I can't log in into the forum, because it says "You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password." So I tried the "I forgot my password" - function. I used my login-name Synwa5000 (and also Synwa2000) with my e-mail address for the request function, but then it says "The e-mail address you supplied does not match the one listed for that username.". Also I can't (and want not to) create a new account, because the e-mail address is already in use.

Need help! Smilie
