Hi there,
I'm posting on behalf of DIII to organize a clan match between our DIII
"elite CTF" team, and the best available RIP players (except for Bear aka
[RIP]Apache, as he is a known cheater and the German Descent
community wants nothing to do with him).
I was chosen as ambassador because my English is fairly good and
because I'm online most of the time, so I'll represent DIII here.
Preliminary details:| Mod | CTF |
| Level | Halcyon or Varicose Veins |
| Player count | 4v4 (Halcyon), 6v6 or 8v8 (VV) |
We can discuss these details in this thread. [RIP]d3jake told me he
was willing to act as ambassador for the RIP clan.
Does RIP accept the challenge?

Okay, it seems that RIP has a counter offer.
One game in Acent 3v3 (on a US server) one game of VV (one a German server) The Acent game will be Team Anarchy.
Any problem with that?

Hi,
I have question about this Acent Level. Do u mean Ascent or a other one? I ask because there gives many ...cent ending Levels like Discent , Crescent, Ascent Pro aso...

ok, we didnt have enove players 4 an big Veins CTF with over than 7 peopels on each Teams.
The only one option 4 CTF is Halcyon.
If Rip wannt to play Ascent Team Anarchy i have this suggestion:
Ascent TA 3 vs 3 on German Server and Halcyon CTF 3 vs. 3 on american Server.
If Rip didnt acept this we have to play only one Level and Mod on both serverlocation ( Halcyon CTF or Ascent TA)

Alright date set for January 6th, the time will be 3:00 CST (8:00 Germany Time) Though somehow I'm shaky on the exact games that we're going to be playing...

Great, a few DIII/A Players will be there, lreally ooking forward a good game.
Do u want to play Ascent with or without cameras? Without would be better and more surprising in my opinion. With cameras could be boring team anarchy.

But later only a part of the team could play so possibly we r only 4 players then.
BUT .... 3:00 CST --> 21:00 German Winter time?

I searched http://rbb.ripteam.com/ for "DIII" using both its own search function and Google. Nothing.
When I talked to Zaphod about the match earlier today, he said he didn't know about it.
I do hope the others do...

Hello, all!
The [RIP] forums (rbb.ripteam.com) are in the process of being converted, plus the thread about the match is in the 'private' RIP-only section. That's probably why you couldn't find it.
Per the information d3Jake posted on our board, the match is at 3PM Central US time. He wasn't sure, but said the match looks to be the first of two.
Match 1: Today, Ascent TA 3v3, US server
Match 2: ??, Halcyon CTF 3v3? or Ascent TA 3v3?, European server
He also said we were to meet in IRC before the match.
I'm looking forward to the game! Good luck!

Thxs to all for the appointment. Thxs to the organisators Jake and Lion. Thxs to the americain Host Deicide. (We all had a ping less then 150 there, worked great)
Teamgames r great. We r looking forward to the CTF Clanwar RIP-DIII which Foil mentioned.
Just offer a date and time (possibly 1 or better 2 hours ealier)

Good games, guys!
It was a lot of fun playing a game on each side - RIP will make sure to give you more competition next time.
We're looking forward to playing again... CTF would be great - Varicose Veins 5v5 or 6v6? Or even 7v7 if we can get enough players?

Yeah... I messed up the zime zones...badly, next time it'll be in terms of GMT.... just to be clear... Was fun, even if my ping was 200-300, ah well. I can't really complain beucase I'm noy paying for my connect.
