Moin, hab mich schon lange nicht mehr blicken lassen, aber ich bin die Tage auf ein Tool gestoßen was sehr sehr interessant für Descent sein könnte, vorallem in anbetracht auf teil 1 und 2.

Das Tool nennt sich Hamachi, man installiert es ganz normal. Nach dem Starten des Tools kann ich Räumen beitreten oder selber erstellen. Alle User die nun im selben Raum sind, können gegenseitig aufeinander zugreifen. Sprich Festplattenfreigaben machen etc. Im Prinzip genau das selbe wie auf einer Lanparty. Und der CLou, starte ich unter D3 ein Lan Game taucht es beim anderen, der im selben Hamachi raums ist, unter TCP / IP Spiele auf. D.h. ich brauche keine Tracker mehr wie Vortex etc.

um lan-spiele übers internet spielen zu können gibt es übrigens auch "Gamer's Internet Tunnel" http://www.morpheussoftware.net/git/

Also genau sowas wie Kali, nur mit IP-Tunnel.

Hm, da D3 ja ohnehin schon selbst internetfähig ist macht ein zusätzlicher IP-Tunnel wohl nicht viel Sinn...
