|
|
www.prepare4descent.net is a new site dedicated to Descent, Descent 2 and Descent 3. While there are only a few pages up now, plans are for pages describing what the games are, how to get them up and running, how to play multiplayer and single player, and level editing tutorials, including tuts on texture, music and sound effects creation and editing. Other pages planned are the Level Designer's pages, this section will spotlight those who have worked hard to provide new levels for us to play.
Please take a look and let me know your thoughts!

Hey, that`s cool. The content is a great step into the right direction. If this was my site, I would work on the chosen colours. It is OK that they do not reflect the world of Descent. That gives a new touch to the site. But blue text on red background (like in the menu) is no no for any webdesigner.

Thanks for your comments... I most likely will change the colors of the text, or the red background, about half the comments I've gotten are something to that effect...
"let's see if the missing pages will be completed" hehe... was wondering the same myself
I will add your site, and any else... hey, links are easy...

Update: reduced the width of the nav bar, should fit in 1024, unfortunatly I can't test as my computer crashes when I attemt to change settings.
I also changed the color of the dropdown background. I kept the blue for links. Most browsers will allow you to override this and use whatever color you like.
Also the menus stay open for anyone who has Javascript disabled, so I added 'noscript' space at the top of the content to push the content down for anyone who chooses to disable Javascript.
