Is there a utility out there that converts D3 .dem files to something a bit more viewable? I could do it with Fraps but I would rather not.
Thanks

you can convert demos to single JPGs with the option -makemovie in commandline options.
afterwards i.e. flash can make an avi- or swf-file out of it.

Don't forget to add "-framecap 25" or "-framecap 30" because the TGA (not JPG) file-amount is set to max 999 - and it will be a huge amount of data. You can use "-fastdemo demofilename.dem" too if you like. My last hint: check the set resolution before doing this! I think 640x480 should be enough. If you like you can use "-height 480 -width 640" to be sure to have the res. you want...
Have fun - and good luck!
