i think i found the problem with vortex not able to connect to gamesurge.

vortexs default gamesurge server is irc.gamesurge.net, and it looks like gamesurge doesnt like to connect europe or australian chatters via a american login server.

here is a list of the gamesurge login servers:

if i use a custom irc-slot in vortex and put in the german login-server for gamesurge i have no problems to login to GS within vortex anymore.
