1. I cannot grab any part of the chat window for resizing except for the lower righthand corner. This is strange. If I grab the left or right side of the server list for resizing, I can drag, but nothing changes. If I grab the line between the chat window and the server window, instead of the line moving as expected, the server list simply gets longer or shorter. The only drag/resize operation that works correctly is dragging the bottom of the server list. There is *NO* way to resize the whole Vortex window by dragging an edge. Note: Kali implements multiple panes in one window correctly. Look at Kali for an example.
2. This is related to #1 a little bit. For some reason the server list has a title bar that makes it look as if it's a separate window from the chat area. Yet if I drag the title bar, the server list just snaps back into place.
3. Whenever the server list refreshes, it scrolls back to the server I have selected. This is very annoying especially if I scrolled up in order to select a new server.
4. I really love the game list relay. Would it be possible to make a program that does the relay but does not have all the other features? (chat/game list/etc) I'd love to be able to install it as a service.
5. If I maximize the Vortex window, I can still resize it by grabbing the lower right corner of the chat area.
6. When I maximize the Vortex window, the "Maximize" button doesn't change into a "Restore" button.
7. It would be great if I could disable automatic refreshing of the server list and click a button to refresh it manually.
8. Same as #7 except for refreshing the info of the servers on the server list. Also it would be great if single-clicking on a server refreshed that server's info (like Kquery)
9. The "Connect" button is ambiguous. What am I connecting to? Maybe it should be called "Chat" instead.

the lower right corner is enough for resizing the whole window.
rightclick the server list - options - stick to chatwindow frees the list from the chatwindow.

Thank you for your feedback, i really appreciate it.
I'll try to consider some of your proposals.
1. i dont have kali
u can place and resize every window separately (just unstick them)
the main window isnt a default windows form - (i was only able to make one corner work yet)
this was once a request by you to make it as small as possible
2. it IS a seperate window
3. this was requested by a user
4. just open vortex and minimize it
5. sure - that's linux behavior not windows
6. who cares
7. please post feature request in the "Feature request" thread where it belongs
8. same like 7
9. i dont know your irc-client but the most ones i know (mirc, ksirc, x-chat) always title it connect
its mainly an irc application - so what do you expect on pushing an connect button else than to connect to an irc-server?
