Descent 3 unter Linux: SIGNAL 11 caught...

Hallo zusammen,

habe gerade Descent 3 auf meinem System installiert (debian unstable). Intro läuft an, Ladevorgang startet und dann stppt das Programm mit folgender Fehlermeldung:SIGNAL 11 caught, aborting...

Habe eine NVIDIA FX5200 mit den Linuxtreiber 1.0-6629.... alle 3D-Anwendungen laufen... nur eben D3 nicht, was besonders ärgerlich ist, da es sich um eine gekaufte Linux-Version (1.4) handelt.

Hat jemand eine Idee?

Leider ist beim Topic-Split n Fehler passiert sodass jetzt die Antwort in einem neuen Thema gelandet sind.
