Problem mit Rechten unter XP Pro

Frage Ich brauch nen Tipp zu Vortx und XP-Pro. Frage
Ich gehe nie als Admin online,
für diese Geschichte bin ich halt immer eingeschränkter User...
Wenn ich aber Vortex unter diesem Konto starte,
kann ich z.B. keine Settings abspeichern und habe auch noch andere Probs mit dem Tool.
Wie bekomme ich es hin, das ich Vortex auch als eingeschränkter Nutzer vollständig zum Laufen bekomme?
Mit D3 oder D3Edit funzt das doch auch, ohne das man dazu Admin sein muss.
Hat jemand für mich ne verständliche Kurzanleitung dazu, wo liegt das Problem, was muss ich machen
(Ausser als Admin online zu gehen Winken ) ?

@ atan: merkw.! Vortex speichert doch ne settings.ini ins vortex-verzeichnis ...

warte ma n paar tage bis skorp wieder zeit hat (derzeit nich der fall), bitte...

meld dich als admin an,
geb dem eingeschränkten nutzer schreibrechte auf das verzeichnis wo vortex liegt,
meld dich wieder ab
und als eingeschränkter user an.

edit: für vortex nicht nötig, aber dennoch good to know:

ansonsten kannst ja mal file- und/oder regmon mitlaufen lassen um zu sehen wo es klemmt.


ises in der registry wo V nicht schreiben darf, -> regedt32 -> zum entsprechenden schlüssel klickern -> sicherheitseinstellungen vom eingeschränklten nutzer auf hauptnutzer umstellen.
(bei 2k geht das mit den rechten nur mit regedt32, bei xp glaub auch mit regedit)

hab mich mit dem verfahren am wochenende rumgeschlagen. aber am ende doch wieder gecancelt. das funzt nich mit vertretbarem aufwand.

Vortex schreibt eigentlich nix in die Registry, jedenfalls nicht im normalen Betrieb. Alles wird in der settings.ini wie Checkor schon erwähnte gespeichert, kann also nur sein das das Verzeichnis dem Admin gehörte und der normale User darauf nicht schreiben durfte.

Das Thema bleibt stehen für andere Benutzer die ähnliche Probleme haben sollten.

Es wird - soweit ich das verstanden habe, noch eine Colsizes.ini und eine D3FavoriteServers.ini erstellt...

Die habe ich nicht extra erwähnt da für die das gleiche gilt wir für die settings.ini - werden alle im Vortex Verzeichnis gespeichert.
