Attached is the txt form of the Press Release for Diti and DigiJo.
I will post it on Planetdescent forums. Diti, would you post it on
the Descentforum and any other german boards? DigiJo, would you please
post it on the Descent BB (american board)?

Level release will be in a day to three days. There are still a few
level.doc translations to complete.

Welcome to the "Fellowship"

The Fellowship of the Nine, as it turns out. Nine level builders from
two Continents have come together to produce a magical nine-level set
based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Meet the cast:

This level set will be released in a few days. Please visit the

The download page will not be activated until final release. All levels
have been completed. Final beta testing and sound insertion (if it works well)
is in progress now.

Each of these levels will also be available for individual download in
case a server operator has a favorite.

topics there spanning the last nine months with the first post on 24 Nov 2002.

About half of the team is American (who don't speak German), and vice-versa.
Many thanks to Floyd, Atan, Diti and DigiJo for providing countless translations.

Many thanks to about a dozen members EACH of Team NUB and Team RIP for beta
testing these levels. Many suggestions were given and applied.

There are 45 custom textures and 2 custom wav files in these levels (plus
several more sounds if they insert well). However, since they were inserted
manually, all MAC and Linux players will be able to enjoy the complete journey.
There are not any custom ships, objects or weapons.

We will see you all in the mines (of Moria)!
