Jo ich hätt DeepWorld auch gern in die Finger bekommen. DirectX, Windows oder nciht, bleibt jedem selsbt überlassen. Die, die es unter Linux spielen wollen, könnten ja SICHER bei der Portierung gern mithelfen.
Die Beweggründe alleine zu entwickeln und den Code auch für sich zu behalten, kann ich auch gut verstehen. Immerhin kenn ich die von Dark beschriebenen, selbsternennten Kritiker und Sanwa's Argumente nur zu gut.
ICh hätt abe rbeim Code gern mal Mäuschen gespielt um mir da bei DXX son paar Tricks abzugucken. Smilie
Vielleicht lässt er dahingehend ja noch mit sich reden. Sehr glücklich

DirectX auf Linux zu portieren stelle ich mir schwieriger vor, als ein neues Spiel zu schreiben... wie mit deinem Network-Code bei DXX Winken Aber bitte nicht weiter OT schreiben... Deep World? -> Neuer Thread.

DirectX auf Linux portieren (was ich als unmöglich erachte) und ein Programm von DirectX auf OpenGL zu portieren, dazwischen liegen Welten - bitte nicht den Sinn verdrehen.
