Das neue Update 2.1.41.48 beinhaltet einen Blender Mesh Importer.
Blender wird bis zur letzten stabilen Version 249 unterstützt.
Importiert wird nur ein Mesh das die D3 Limits erfüllt. 10000 Verts und 3000 Faces max.
Ein Micro Tut dazu gibt es bereits bei Fischlein.

Ein weiterer Importer, für 3ds Files, ist in der Mache und kommt mit 2.1.41.49.
Zur Zeit gibt es die neuen Versionen nur per Update (D3Edit->Menu->Help-> Check for Update)

Sofern der Blender- und 3DS-Importer zufriedenstellend funktionieren lade ich dann auch das Zip-File hoch.

sehr schön Sehr glücklich wenn ich sowas lese krieg ich wieder lust d3edit auszupacken... wenn ich jetzt mehr Zeit hätte Weinen

Eine weitere Innovation. Atan, dieser Weg ist äußerst interessant. Blenderuser gibt es massenhaft. Ich selbst stehe noch in den absoluten Kinderschuhen. Aber die Möglichkeit dies zu nutzen finde ich genial. DANKE. Respekt !

Diese Innovation könnte das Erstellen von weiteren Levels für D3 wesentlich erweitern. Habe selbst momentan kaum noch Zeit mich mit sowas zu beschäftigen, aber daß es möglich wird finde ich genial. Danke !

Hier ein Beispiel für ein freies 3ds Modell das ich im www gefunden habe.
Es erfüllt nicht die Vorgaben von 3000 faces aber ich habe dem Importer eine Auswahlbox zugefügt um einzelne Parts laden zu können, sofern möglich.
Die Texture habe ich dann per D3Edit-Align draufgezogen.

Ich glaube fast, dass der 3ds Importer nun soweit fertig ist.
Ich werde die Tage noch ein wenig damit rumspielen, ein Mirco-Tut zum 3DS-Importer anfertigen und es zu Fischlein hochschieben und danach dann das D3Edit-Update auf den Server legen.
Das Zip-File folgt dann etwas später.
