Hi

Is there a way in d3edit to snap one vertex to the grid and have the rest of the room to follow (move the same distance in the same direction)?

Thanks!

mark all verts you want to move, set the "master vert" as current vert, then: geometry bar->vertex field->snap current vert to grid (2nd row, last button on the right hand side)

Maybe this may helpful info too:
If you move your cursor over the buttons, D3Edit will give you some info what these button will do.
The info is shown as tooltip and in the statusbar on the left side then after a very short delay.

You may also try Menu->Help.
Here you'll find links to sites full of informations and -how to-.
You may find all tutorials there, the basics and the new ones, English and German.

The tooltip is what made me confused. It said "snap current vert to grid" and i thought not good enough, I want to move the whole room.

I think I read all the English tutorials from the help menu. One day I will try the German ones with some on line translation tool.
