Yo!

It could be possible that our good old "Aenn Seidhe Priest" aka. "S-Priest" will develop and release some kind of rerelease with an updated version of the great MOD in the near future.

Pyromania is the mod which brings a lot of fancy ships and weapons to D3 - such as ones from D1 and D2 among other great stuff.

So we'd like to collect some feedback about Pyromania where you can explain what you dislike about the MOD. In chat I recently heard words like "bug" when people talked about ships or weapons. Neither I nor S-Priest knows any details yet and this is what we'd like to change.

So - if an update like a service pack would be released for Pyromania 1.5 - what should this include in your opinion (no new ships and weapons - only changes to existing stuff please)?

If you agree to posts by other users, please state this here so we know what should be prioritized.

My problem with Pyromania is that it is using the 1.5-patch of D3. If it was 1.4, I could create a Linux-release. Since I cannot play it very often, I don't have any more feedback.

I flew in Pyromania for a grand total of 20 minutes before deleting it. I tried every one of the ships and they were all uber fast with uber weapons. No one could have fun in anything built with ships like that.

That's true in multiplayer, but having crazy-powerful ships is fun once in a while for singleplayer or co-op missions. Smilie

Hahahah! Isn't / Wasn't that the same argument for players who played Descent1 or Descent2 for years and then tried Descent3? At least those words remind ME of my first impressions of D3...

Anyways: This was intended to be a thread about bugfixes and minor changes for a Pyromania Servicepack / Update - not anything general. The fact that - once a server is open with a polupar level - people join and have fun states that there ARE people having fun playing this mod Smilie

Hello all. I always loved playing Pyromania. Only problem it seemed was that no one else did. It's tough enough to get players to play different levels let alone playing a mod.

Pyromania is aqwesome, I do miss the Helix Cannon in Single player, though, replace the Spreadfire cannon with the Napalm Cannon and replace the Microwave Cannon with the Helix Cannon, or just add the helix as a 3rd number 3 cannon xD Winken
