|
|
Hey guys,
Can anyone give me an explanation in English on how to use the x2orf.exe converter utility, written by Ouch?
I only speak English but I really need a converter. I'm also looking for people to help out with a Descent 3 Facelift mod if anyone is interested.

Code: | usage: x2orf in out |
...where in is the Direct-X-File you have created with blender ("click on export as X") (e.g. bla.x) and then out is what the outfile should be called (for instance bla.orf)
well... it is a commandline tool, if you use win you should start "cmd", the win-commandline. Then type the usage...

I forgot how to use these little command line utilities. :\ Anyone care to explain. I'm just starting to gain an understanding for them.

go in wxp on start/execute (should be so: ausführen in german version) then cmd and return. A commandline window opens (good old dos). There you can change directories ("cd \" brigs you to root directory). Go to the directory of your x file, copy the x2orf.exe into the directory for easier commands and type
x2orf Yourfile.x convertedFile
that should work
