I just downloaded the latest Version and another tool I needed I got from www.descent3fischlein.de where I was looking at ANOTHER Version "0_1_38_2". I was wondering where the difference is or if it would be newer or what...
Atan?

V 38_2 is a minor bug fix because I didn't include the correct release version inside the V38 zip.
Look at the camera slewer, if the down arrow is active without any file loaded, you own the wrong version which may crash if you hit that button.
Thx must go to Roadi, who found out that there was something wrong with that first file.
I changed this very quickly and so V38_2 is the correct one now. (but it is still V38!)
The new zip file was uploaded here too, but I forgot to update the link, sorry.

I have the right version, since I downloaded the "_2" from Fischlein - good to hear DF.DE is up to date now too...
BTW / OT: I have not been using D3Edit for a few years now - damn I have forgotten everything already, it seem to me

Hey great!
One question, is there a way to set the level of the "invisible ceiling"? Or is that done by raising or lowering the level itself?
Thanks for keeping this up.

You mean hight limitation on terrain I believe?
I don't know (for now) if there is a way to change this.
Move Mine will move the internal rooms and not the terrain as far as I see.

I tried and tried to move this ceiling and gave up. You have to move the entire mine up to it. Of course, it helps to build the first room as a terrain room and move it, then the rest falls into place.
You need the top of this room at +344 y-coordinate. Well, plus or minus a few places, that was what I was doing for a special effect.
Some of the original Outrage levels were able to ignore this limit since they were built in a different editor (like Kartoon Kanyon).

I'm restarting my Port of Total Chaos. The main chamber isn't enclosed, but is the throat of a massive extinct volcano. I need the ceiling to keep the players from going all the way to the top of the cone. (There is no real external cone, just the inside.)
With Atan's editor, the invisible ceiling disappeared completely. So I light it with Atan's and then open it up in the old beta 9 editor and save it again.
I can get around it, it's just a bit of a nuisance. Mostly because i have custom doors and such and I have to redirect the editor where all the mod stuff is every time I boot it up.
(I wish there was a way I didn't have to do this every time.)
Thanks guys.
