3D Pro (mit Gameport Anschluss) am USB anschliessen?

Halli Hallo!

Ich hab noch einen Sidewinder 3D Pro im Keller gefunden. Aber mit Gameport Anschluss.


Hm...Gameport- Anschluss hab ich aber keinen. Ich hab auch keinen Platz für eine alte Soundkarte.

Was ich aber hab ist so ein USB--> Gameport Kabel.

Kann man den Joystick mit diesem Kabel zum Laufen bekommen?

Ja und Nein.

Grendel hat dafür ein spezielle Stück Hardware hergestellt, den D3pro2USB-Konverter. Mit dem würde es gehen. Davon sind aber leider weder auf dem "freien" Markt noch hier welche in der Community derzeit im Angebot.

Sorry, aber das geht leider nicht.
Munk und grendel hat letztes Jahr die Marathonarbeit auf sich genommen und für einige Piloten einen Konverter gebaut.
Ich zählte zu den glücklichen.
Vielleicht hast du ja sehr viel Glück und einer trennt sich davon.
Der MS 3d ist übrigens der beliebteste und beste Stick.

So lange man einen normalen PC hat kann man auch Soundkarten kaufen die noch nen Gameport haben. Hier bei ist zu beachten, dass nicht ALLE gehen, sondern scheinbar eher nur die Hälfte...

Ich z.B. hab ne Hercules Soundkarte (in einem aktuellen Rechner) und damit geht's.

Der optionale Gameport der meisten Motherboards (insbesondere Asus) geht nicht...

Kannst ja mal in Deinem Keller suchen ob Du nicht noch ne PCI Soundkarte rumfliegen hast und es dann mit der probieren....

DAS RATE ICH ÜBRIGENS NOCHMA ALLEN AN!

Wer sagt dass man nen Konverter braucht? Es ist die sicherste Variante und geht dann eben durch USB auch an Notebooks, aber es ist sicher nicht die einzige Möglichkeit! Soundkarten sind i.d.R. auch günstiger als so ein Konverter Winken

Guardian hat sich bei ebay auf unser Anraten hin ne alte Soundkarte gekauft (die gleich die Floyd und ich haben) und nun ginge es mit 3D Pro...

Naja, wie gesagt, ich hab keinen Platz für eine Soundkarte.

Aber ich hab mir gedacht, vielleicht gibts da eine Bauanleitung- zum Anschluss an den USB Port.

..weil ich hab noch einen Lötkolben in der Hinterhand.

schicke eine mail an Grendel (hier im forum vertreten) und frage ihn, ob du die schaltung haben kannst.
allerdings ist nicht nur der lötkolben (20W), sondern auch ein wenig geschick damit notwendig zwinkern. wenn du keine möglichkeit hast, die leiterplatte selbst herzustellen, wird es entweder teuer oder unübersichtlich (handverdrahtung auf lochraster).

Um die Verwirrung komplett zu machen:

An der Soundblaster 16 PCI funktionierte mein Gameport vorbildlich und hat mir in Verbindung mit dem Gravis Firebird 2 lange Freude bereitet.

Und nochmal auf die Standart-USB-Adapter zurückzukommen, die man überall kaufen kann. Das Standartergebniss mit einem Kaufadapter sieht so aus, das die X- und die Y-Achse und zwei oder manchmal auch vier Knöpfe funktionieren. Die ganzen Sonderfunktionen, die die Sache aber erst interessant machen sind alle ohne Funktion.
