Hello all, I know that this isn't the introduction forum (sorry), but sincce my command of German isn't the best I didn't want to sound like a kindergardener....
That aside I want to say hi to everybody here. I'm a 4 week nOOb when it coes to net play, but I'm not too bad playing single player...Rookie diffiulty... oh well. The best score I ever got while playing on the internet was Kills:3 Deaths:1
I hope I can talk to you all at great length!!!

Hello d3jake - welcome to DescentForum AND to Descent Multiplayer. 
[use review (shift+f1 or shift+f2) - always keep moving - don´t make noise (use ur AB only when u need it) - don´t try to kill someone with blue laser only (collect some weapons first) - use joystick - use headphones - always try to turn up the HUD NAME LEVEL to FULL (F6, HUD NAME LEVEL, right arrow, select full if possible) - primary weapon config : MD, Vauss, Fusion, SuperLaser, Plasma, Micro... - secondary weapon config: Black Shark, Mega, Smart, Napalm, Mortar, Frag, Homing... - be nice to other players - don´t run other online.stuff during playing Descent - HAVE FUN]

I have to say I've never played in that level...
I just noticed that this must be the hang out for all of the people who have written good utilities for D3! I reconize DwnUnder, Atan (though I think he built a level or two...), and that's all...I think. I think I'm kinda lucky that I found their normal haunt...

seems you missed a little from my descent related work
5 D3 MP level,
1 SP (Firing Range)
Involved into
1 D3 MP (ToB),
6 SP Level (Mission to Saturn)
9 D2 MP
involed into 2
14 D2 Sp Level
+ one 5 Level SP Set (LOTM)
involed into 3 SP (i.e. Lagrande)
3 D1 SP Level
involed into 3
And as you said, yes some D2 / D3 tools besides uprading and support D3Edit.
So yes, here seems to be a place for some descent creatives,
including some of our good friends from overseas.
So welcome again d3jake, nice to have you here!
