Any plans on making any other forums on this board in English. I'd love to be able to read the level designers forum but unfortunately, my German is non-existent.

several leveldesigners don't speak english either. if you want to participate, ask for the certain post and someone (me for instance) will translate it for you. (unless it comes to a novel (hello Dark ), then just the facts)

pipsqueak pleae read this here:
http://www.descentforum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2177
maybe we have to think over this 'problem' again?
On the other hand it's like Floyd said,
a count of German LD's are not able to read or write in English,
that's one of the reasons why 'we' made a german board longer ago.
If you would like to know what's going on in a special board,
just tell which post you are interessted in, and we will try to mad a short translation for you.
If you want to reply we will try to translate your post too.
We own some guys who are nearly perfect in English,
but it's better you write in a short and clear way
so it's easy for us 'normals' to translate your stuff too.

I don't need anything translated at this time. Generally speaking I am curious to see some of the design problems and questions German designers have to compare the differences between American designers. I feel I may be able to learn alot from German designers as well as designers from other countries. In the future however, If I need anything translated I will most certainly ask. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Some of THE very best engineers come from Germany.
in fact, many discoveries and inventions that were created here in the States early last century were from German immagrants.
I worked for Leupold rifle scopes for a number of years. One of the US's best if not THE best manufactorer of rifle scopes. Frank Leupold was a German engineer.
