I have jumped on this fun idea by Thunderbunny for a Halloween level (or two, or three, heh).
I would like to ask Roadrunner to make the interior of a crypt for this level. He did a great job in Black Fair. Hopefully I can finish the exterior of the crypt tonight so I can send you the size for the interior room.

Yes, but let me send you an orf file to show you the size that is needed to fit into the level. Tonight I will send it.
Have you ever watched Interview with a Vampire starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt? Remember the scene where they first walked down into the crypt under the Theatre de Vampires? That is the room I want! With all the holes for coffins in the walls, etc. This will be the spawn room for each team with an upper and a lower entrance.
I will try to get the file to you tonight as well as a preview of the level so far.

I have an old Snappy (video Capture), I will try to get pictures of it tonight. I have also left room outside the crypt for you to decorate there too.
As you know, it takes a long time to do rooms like this, so I didn't get the shell finished to send you last night. Hopefully tonight!

I originally just going to send rooms out in pieces for folks to work on, but then decided to at least connect everything together so everyone on the project could tell what it would look like. Hopefully tonight I will get the rough shell done and send it out to the project people.

Roadrunner is doing the crypt and graveyard outside the crypt,
Shark is doing a coffin room and the spooky sounds,
Starkiller may do lightning for three rooms,
ThunderBunny gets to okay the weapon selection.

Essentially the level is only five rooms and connecting tunnels. But even that can "seem" large the way I'm doing it (The WET Spot was only six rooms and everyone told me how HUGE the level was! Hehe).
The project people should have the rough level in their email Friday!

I have taken some digital pictures of the scenes in Interview for you Roady and will send them with the level.

well designed level. I dont know how it will be played with a lot of players, but for my opinion not enough weapons in this level.
But we will play it.

really nice level, i like it. but the ships/ghosts need a little more detail/texturing or? funny if you move your ghost with ab-sound hehe

Yes, the level is well designed. But has REALLY lack of light =Traurig
That will be the main reason I won´t play it.
Then I recognized an effect at the blue ceiling with the "white" stripes in it. Move a bit near or far from it and you can see how the "white lines" will change. Is this a wanted effect?
Then I found a 0-unit-thick-edge. That might not REALLY beeing an error. I just don´t like edges with zero thickness, personally.
It just looks toooo unreal (okay...is Descent real? =Winken )

Nevertheless, nice level - not far away from beeing "perfect".

Thanks to all for the replies.
Thunderbunny had requested a VERY dark level. It IS very hard for me to judge since my monitor is old, so comments like yours will help decide the light level.
In the meantime press the F2 key and turn your brightness up a bit.
I will fix that wedge wall before release.
My video card doesn't show anything wrong (actually two video cards on two different computers) with the ceiling and it's white lines. It is an animated texture, so it flows like water a little bit. Is this what you meant? With your brightness not turned up, you just may not be seeing the animation.
