				| D3Edit tutorial by RagilRal (Q).
This is the German version of Q's Monster Tutorial (pdf, 57MB!).
This tutorial is worlds most complete Descent3 editing tutorial ever seen.
And the best: You'll find information about the new D3EditAV functions inside this monster tutorial too.

 Further related D3 tools:

 GAM-Tool
 by Alan 'Aldel' deLespinasse
is a free Windows program for editing Descent 3 table files
(.gam files). These files contain parameters of certain resources
(textures, sounds, objects, doors, player ships, and weapons) that are
used in Descent 3 missions. You will need to create and edit table
files in order to put custom resources in your missions.

 OOF-Editor
 by Rob 'SuperSheep' Piontek
was designed to eliminate the need to have an expensive modelling program such as 3dsmax.
OOF Editor imports both OOF and ORF files which allows you to make your models using D3Edit,
and finish them in OOF Editor.
If you have 3dsmax, you may find it easier to add properties and weapons batteries in OOF Editor
because OOF Editor has been designed to display your models exactly as they will appear in D3.
This includes such things as animated textures, glows, semi-transparent textures,
as well as all the Special points(i.e., Gunpoints, Attach Points, Attach Normals, and Ground Points.)
In addition, OOF Editor allows you to create key frames for animation using a Keyframe editor that was based on 3dsmax.
 OOF Editor required files(not included)-
 OpenGL32.dll - OpenGL ICD
 Glu32.dll - GL Utility Library
Comctl32.dll v5.80 or better - Windows Common Controls

 D3Image-Tool
 by Rob 'SuperSheep' Piontek
is a Descent III Image converting program
designed to convert all D3 image formats to and from each other and TGA's.
Required Files- OpenGL32.dll - OpenGL ICD

 D3MusicTester
 by Outrage
Music files for Descent 3 must be in OSF format. MusicTester will convert WAV files to OSF files.
The WAV file should have the following properties: 22,050 Hz, Mono, 8-bit, PCM.
MusicTester should be located in the main D3Edit directory.

 LevelInfo V1.3
 by (LL)Atan
A tool/Mod to show informations about your level if you are flying around inside.
It checks the known limits, shows room names and what kind of room you are inside, what flags you have set.
Useful if you are building i.e. Entropy levels.
And it shows some level errors if you missed removing them in D3Edit.

 D3-SDK Windows D3-SDK Linux
 by Outrage
 Needed for Descent 3 scripting.
See included Readme how to install and other details.

this list is not complete yet
